Best time to go to Uganda 

Best time to go: December to February, June to September

Uganda can be visited all year round.  Situated astride the Equator, the country enjoys a tropical climate with very little temperature variation throughout the year.  

December to February and June to September are periods acknowledged as the best time to go to Uganda because the rainfall is less. In the southern part of the country, April is the rainiest month.  The rains stretch up to May, with another wet season in October to November. 

Although the dry months are good for gorilla trekking and birding, you might see more druing the wet months since this is when breeding occurs.
